lovely stay on the water

ideal locationgenerous size
the location is ideal for enjoying the main sights. our room was like a proper apartment. we had a generous sized family room (it was perfect for us).
i found it slightly inconvenient.

The breakfast was GOOD and had a great variety of options. I especially enjoyed the fluffy towels, THEY were a real treat. The staff were very cute, especially Murtaza at the front desk, he.
My shower did not drain properly and the bathroom FLOODED, quite unpleasant! I noticed mold in the shower and on the counter. It really needs addressing. A chandelier was missing in my room. There was just a loose wire hanging.

The location was superb. It's near many museums and shops. the staff spoke english very well. They were very solicitous. breakfasts were plentiful. The food was delicious. i found the location perfect, very close to the city center.
It could use some modernization. the steps in rooms might be a hazard for older guests. these areas could enhance the overall experience.

Victoria at the front desk helped rearrange things. she satisfied my request for a room change. the staff treated me with such kindness. It felt magical. valet parking was a welcome touch, easing my arrival.
the bathroom light in my room didn't always come on. it was a small inconvenience, but worth mentioning.

The room lacked air conditioning, a major issue. even with the window open, the room remained stuffy and uncomfortable. i was also quite annoyed by the noise from the street. It made it difficult to sleep soundly at night.
